After losing her father over the weekend, Demi Lovato appeared on Good Morning America this morning to talk about her new single "Made in the USA" and announce the Lovato Treatment Scholarship Program, a mental illness scholarship fund she started in honor of her dad.

Demi, who went to rehab back in 2010 and is working with CAST Recovery, said, "I've dealt with mental illnessess but my father also dealth gwith mental illness and he wasn't able to function very well in society...and I'm basically helping one person at a time. I'm going to pay for their treatment."

Although she didn't always have the best relationship with her father, Demi said dealing with his death is "difficult" because "at the end of the day he's still my dad."
