Drinking & Driving? Bachelor Chris Soules Still Behind Bars Without Bail After Leaving The Scene Of Deadly Crash!

Things are not looking too good for Chris Soules.

According to RadarOnline.com, the former Bachelor star is still behind bars after allegedly slamming his pickup truck into the back of a tractor-trailer, killing the driver, and then fleeing the scene.

“Yes he is still here,” a spokesperson for the Buchanan County Correctional Center told Radar. “No bail has been set yet because he’s waiting for the judge.”

According to Iowa State Patrol, on Monday around 8:20 p.m., Chris’ truck rear-ended a tractor while they were going southbound, sending the vehicles into a roadside ditch.

“The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 report of a motor vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Slater Avenue north of Aurora involving a pickup truck and a tractor,” the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office told Radar in a statement. “At this time, one fatality has been confirmed.”

The man killed in the crash has been identified as 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher. He was behind the wheel of the tractor that was allegedly rear-ended by Chris’s truck.

While the spokesperson told Radar that there is no alcohol-related charge at this time, KWWL originally reported that alcoholic beverages or containers were at the scene of the deadly crash.

The Buchanan County Attorney also told KWWL before law enforcement could get to the accident, Chris allegedly left the scene. However, they later found the vehicle that was involved in the crash, after witnesses reportedly ID’d Chris, at a home that the reality star was present at.

The attorney additionally told the local news station that it took hours to get a search warrant to get Chris out of the home.

Chris was then charged with leaving the scene of an accident with death.

The 35-year-old's Monday arrest isn’t the first time he’s had trouble with the law.

In 2001, Chris was found guilty of possessing alcohol underage twice and driving with an open container of alcohol.

A year later, he was found guilty of fighting and leaving the scene of an accident.

Then in 2006, the former Bachelor was found guilty of driving under the influence.

Story developing.

UPDATE:

Chris Soules was released on $10,000 cash bond.
