Ellen DeGeneres, Britney Spears & More! 5 Female Celebs That Have Shaved Their Head

Ellen DeGeneres made headlines recently for shaving her head after a disastrous dye job caused her hair to fall out in clumps, but she's not the only lady in Hollywood that has dared to go bare! OKMagazine.com has put together a compilation of 5 of some of the biggest names that have opted to rock a buzz cut.

Ellen, 61, wasn't really given a choice on the matter after repeated attempts at fixing her color resulted in severely damaged tresses. "I would touch my hair and hair was falling out. My hairdresser said I needed to shave it really short so that the color was completely out of it and I would grow new virgin hair. And since I wasn't working over the summer, that's what I did," she explained on her show.

Kate Hudson got rid of blonde locks for her role in the movie Music in 2017. The actress revealed that singer Sia, the director of the film, helped give her her drastic haircut. The film is set to be released in October 2019.

Supermodel Cara Delevingne also shaved her head for her role in Life in a Year and she actually enjoyed the freedom that came with shunning traditional beauty standards. "Just doing it really was liberating. The kind of power of not needing hair to be beautiful ... that was the message I really thought I needed to spread," she confessed in an interview.
