Janet Jackson has split from her husband of five years, Wissam Al Mana, but where did things go wrong?
The couple welcomed a newborn son just three months ago, but according to Page Six, the problems started brewing well before their baby was born. “She thought he had become too controlling during the pregnancy and she had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts,” a source told the outlet.
The insider claimed that Wissam, 41, insisted that the 50-year-old cut out her signature sexy moves from her performances, adding, “It drove her crazy and she felt she was losing her fan base.”
Janet reportedly re-arranged much of her life to accommodate Wissam, moving to London and conforming to his faith, but they turned a corner when he allegedly failed to show concern for her mother Katherine after she levied elder abuse allegations against her nephew Trent.
