Jennifer Lawrence Gets Stabbed In The Back

Jennifer Lawrence is not having the best year, despite having released two box office movies already. Her film Mother, which was released last fall, was widely hailed as a fail, and Red Sparrow, which recently came out, is getting panned in a number of reviews. Now, she feels as though she’s been stabbed in the back by everyone.

A source tells OK! exclusively the negative reviews about Mother ruined her relationship with the director Darren Aronofsky, whom she dated for one year. And she admitted it herself, saying in an interview that the bad reception became “unhealthy” for them.

And being judged by everyone has been a blow for her ego. “She’s hurt by all the backlash directed at her. She’s certainly not used to it,” an insider told OK!

She showed how over it she is back in February, after fans questioned her on social media, asking why she wore a racy dress during a photo-call in London during the freezing cold, while her co-stars wore coats.

“I walked my bare a** out for the photos,” she vented to Howard Stern. “All these people trying to be feminist – you’re not. You’re loud, you’re annoying, you have no point.”

On top of the demise of her relationship and bad movie reviews, fans are also over her behavior in interviews, according to an insider.

“Jen’s salty language and self-deprecating humor used to be refreshing. But now her fans are starting to see her comments as bratty, spoiled and rude. People are hating on her lately.”
