'Hot Felon' Jeremy Meeks’ Ex-Wife Breaks Down In First TV Interview Since His Affair
Months after her husband Jeremy Meeks was caught having an affair with Chloe Green, Melissa Meeks is finally telling her side of the story. The “hot felon’s” soon-to-be ex-wife appeared on the British daytime show This Morning to explain how it felt to be left by her husband for the 26-year-old Topshop clothing store heiress.
“It was very very heartbreaking for me,” Melissa, 38, told hosts Ben Shepherd and Amanda Holden Monday.
Melissa first found out about her husband’s affair when he told her he was away on a modeling gig, and then pictures surfaced of Jeremy, 33, kissing Chloe aboard a yacht. Melissa said she had no idea “things weren’t great” between them.
“I had no indication that he was looking for another relationship,” Melissa explained. “Of course, people who are married, who have been in long-term relationships, you go through your ups and downs. This I felt was just a new chapter in our life that we had to work through, that we had to figure out, get over the hump, and we’d iron things out and we’d get through it and everything would be fine.”
Melissa then seemed on the verge of a break down before Amanda changed the subject and asked how Jeremy spoke to her when the racy pics were first released.
“He was just apologetic for how things came out,” Melissa said.
In 2014, Jeremy became famous when his mug shot went viral. He and Melissa had been married for eight years when the pics of him and Chloe kissing on a yacht surfaced. In July, he filed for separation and has been packing on the PDA with Chloe every since. Since the affair, Melissa has revamped her look and even gotten a makeover.
