You've Got To Hear This Insane Las Vegas Shooting Conspiracy Theory
A man who claims to have been the neighbor of Stephen Paddock, the gunman behind the recent mass shooting in Las Vegas, told conservative radio show Savage Nation that he doesn't believe Paddock is actually responsible for the massacre.
"I can tell you, 100-percent, this is not that kind of guy," he told the host, Michael Savage. The caller, who said his name was Rick, said Paddock was a "really nice guy" and that they'd drink beer and play slot machines together. He claimed to have lived next door to Paddock in Mesquite, Nevada, from December 2015 to June 2016.
“He used to sit in a lawn chair with the garage open, and wave all the time,” Rick said, adding “he never even told me he owned a gun.” This is a very different description of Paddock than what's previously been said about him. Neighbors of the gunman told CNN he was a very private man, who'd built a screen around his house to keep people out.
Rick said he doesn't believe Paddock is the same person who killed 58 people, and injured hundreds more, at the Route 91 Harvest country musical festival in Las Vegas in October.
“It doesn’t sit right,” he said, adding that while he doesn't usually believe in conspiracy theories, he isn't convinced the shooting happened the way it's being reported. “It’s a setup."
He also mentioned that Paddock was a Trump supporter, and was once seen wearing a "Team Trump" T-shirt.
