Mac Miller Arrested For DUI After Hit & Run Accident

Mac was released from police custody Thursday afternoon.

Mac Miller is behind bars after allegedly getting into a car accident while drunk and then fleeing the scene.
According to reports, the “Weekend” rapper, 26, drove his G-Wagon Mercedes into a power pole, knocking it down, around one a.m. Thursday morning.
Mac, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, then fled the scene on foot along with 2 passengers, according to an eyewitness.
Police were able to track Mac and his friends to his home, where he reportedly confessed to driving drunk and fleeing the scene of the accident.
He is currently being held on $15K bond.
The rapper's arrest comes just after his recent split from his girlfriend of two-years, Ariana Grande.
The “No Tears Left To Cry” singer confirmed their break up earlier this month on Instagram.
“This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!”
“Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you,” Ariana added. “I can’t wait to know and support you forever and i’m so proud of you!”
