Oscar Pistorius got impatient today, in his fourth day of testifying in his own trial for the murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. As the cross-examination by the prosecution continued, Pistorius finally began to get tripped up by the endless questioning.

WATCH: Pistorius cried so hard in court this week the trial was adjourned for the day.

The prosecutor asked him again and again whether he fired the gun by accident, or intended to do so. "I've said time and time again what I perceived and what I thought," Pistorius said in a broken voice. He explained that the entire incident happened in a split second, and if he had heard Steenkamp cry out he would not have shot. "I didn't have time to think, and I fired my weapon," he said. The prosecution also returned to the couple's text messages, painting Pistorius as a jealous, selfish boyfriend. Click the video above for more!
