Although the lives of Kate Middleton and Snooki couldn’t be more different, the Jersey Shore star did become a mom first when son Lorenzo entered the world ten months ago. So, she can totally help soothe the first-time labor jitters the Duchess of Cambridge may feel as she prepares for the royal baby’s arrival.

Snooki reveals how she made it through the most terrifying (and then joyous!) event of a woman’s life.

“I don’t like giving advice, but I can give how I got through it,” the MTV reality star, 25, tells me during a WE tv event in NYC. “When you’re in labor, put on cartoons. It relaxes you. Eat as much ice chips as you can because you’re starving and you can’t eat. Just try to be comfortable.”

What’s her newborn-baby must-have?

“Well, I think binkers are a must,” Snooki says. “You can never have too many binkers. Babies are always crying, and they misplace it. You need at least ten binkers in one room.”

Her favorite pacifiers double as playthings.

“I like the ones with the toys,” she says, adding she gets them for Lorenzo on Amazon. ”He can find it in his crib when he’s sleeping—it’s like a little stuffed animal.”
