Watch: Robert De Niro Bashes Trump, Urges People To Vote And 'Win This Fight'

Actor Robert De Niro feels that the US is in danger if President Donald Trump gets reelected in November for a second term; De Niro called the President a "criminal who will stop at nothing" to win.

"We have to win it. Everybody has to join. We have to speak out and win this fight, period. We can't let this go further," De Niro said in an upcoming interview with Yahoo Entertainment.

The Oscar-winning actor added that if Trump gets another four years in office, we will see a "fascist" America.

To avoid the "unimaginable" from happening, the 77-year-old urged Americans to cast their vote. "We have to vote him out of office and even then it's going to be a problem. This guy is something we don't understand, and a lot of people don't understand. His logic, his mindset, it's scary," the acclaimed actor said.

De Niro said that if Trump wins the upcoming elections, the country will suffer "irreparable damage." He added that the world looks at Americans "like we're crazy," and protested vehemently against letting "crazy people and administrators and enablers" lead the country.

The actor also criticized Trump's supporters and called them a "cult," adding that his followers will start to care when they become directly affected by his behavior.

De Niro's interview with Yahoo Entertainment was recorded before Wednesday, when the President would not commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the election to Democrat Joe Biden.

"Get rid of the ballots and you'll have a very peaceful... there won't be a transfer, frankly, there will be a continuation," Trump said.

The Raging Bull actor also shared his thoughts on the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He said that her death added to "the problem" and that "people like her are few and far between."

Trump is expected to pick a conservative judge to fill Justice Ginsburg's shoes. He is said to announce a nominee for the prestigious Supreme Court seat on Saturday.

As OK! previously reported, the President was not received well while paying his respects to Ginsburg in Washington D.C. As Trump emerged at the top of the Supreme Court steps on Thursday, September 24, he was met with loud booing.

“Vote him out,” the crowds began to chant as Trump stood next to the flag-draped coffin containing the late Supreme Court Justice. The angry crowd also chanted “honor her wish,” referencing a statement that Ginsburg said to her granddaughter in her final days, according to NPR.

“My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed,” RBG told her granddaughter.

Justice Ginsburg, who died on Friday, September 18 — after a long battle with cancer — laid in repose outside the courthouse steps on September 23 and September 24. The public was invited to come pay their respects to the women who changed American politics forever.
