Luann De Lesseps Claims Russell Simmons Groped Her : 'I Was Grossed Out'
Luann de Lesseps claims Russell Simmons groped her in a shocking new interview. The Real Housewives of New York star, who is making a comeback after being arrested in Palm Beach for a DUI in December, spoke with The Daily Beast about the mogul, who has been accused by a number of women in recent months of sexual misconduct.
“He grabbed my a*** in an elevator, he was just a pig,” Luann said. “I haven’t told anybody about that before. I was grossed out. I was like ‘How dare you.’ He invaded me, he took advantage of me, being who he is, thinking he is all ‘it,’ all everything. He thought he could just do that. I looked at him and said, ‘Don't ever do that again.’”
The 52-year-old went on to say that the incident took place "around three summers ago, at Soho Beach House, Miami.”
When asked if Russell ever apologized, Luann replied, “No. Of course he didn't apologize,”
Last November, Russell stepped down from his companies amid sexual assault claims, and while his ex-wife, Kimora Lee Simmons, defended him on social media in January, saying in part, "these allegations against him are nothing like the person I have known in all that time," more and more women have come forward with their own alleged inappropriate encounters with him.
