Watch: Magician Shin Lim Wins $1M Grand Prize On America’s Got Talent

Last night’s two hour finale of America’s Got Talent started with an electric performance from band Kiss.

It continued in the the same vein with finalists all taking the stage until the competition dwindled down to just two challengers — Zurcaroh, the Austrian dance troupe led by Brazilian choreographer Peterson da Cruz Hora, and Shin Wim, the 26-year-old Canadian-American magician.

“Congratulations to both of them for an incredible season, but who has America chosen as the winner? Good luck to both of you,” host Tyra Banks said before finally giving the viewers what they wanted.

At the sound of his name, Shin was so overcome with emotion he crumbled to the ground!

“I love you all so much, I love you all so much… I can't speak right now,” he eventually choked out.

In addition to the million dollars in prize money, Shin also scored himself a 3-night residency in Las Vegas.
