Do you know why Alicia Silverstone's Cher always dressed so well in Clueless? Yes, partly because she (ie: her dad) had the money to buy Calvin Klein dresses, but it's also because her closet was so organized it allowed her to be her very own celebrity stylist. Check out the video above to hear Kimberly's tip for merchandising your closet, which is sure to change your life. What does that mean exactly? Well, instead of shoving all your pants and sweaters and dresses on hangers anywhere in your closet (guilty!), a little extra thought and planning can go a long way. Group outfits together with any tops that match your pants near each other, and jackets that go with them also close by. This way when you are looking for a cute outfit, you won't have to rifle through your entire closet to put one together. All the pieces will be hanging together, ready for you to put them on your hot bod or even quickly add to your suitcase for a last minute getaway weekend. You never know when that might come up, and who wants to waste precious fun time with packing?

This tip is especially useful this time of year when you are moving clothes around in your closet that are seasonally appropriate. Sorry cute sundresses, you are banished to the back of the closet for a while. Well...until that weekend trip comes around anyway!
