'Vanderpump Rules' Star Lala Kent Gets Engaged To Boyfriend Randall Emmett!
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is officially engaged!
Her now fiancé, Hollywood producer Randall Emmett, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him during a romantic trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico over the weekend. They were there to celebrate the reality star's 28th birthday.
“This weekend has been an amazing one for the two of us! It was definitely the most romantic moment of my life. Every detail of the surprise was stunning and I’m still in shock,” she told PEOPLE exclusively of his proposal.
Emmett went the extra mile to ensure the engagement was one she would never forget. He set up a screen for her to watch one of her all-time favorite shows, Friends, before the screen went black and switched to a video of them and all their memories together. When the video ended, he got down on his knee and proposed. A private fireworks display went off in the background when he placed the diamond engagement ring on her finger.
“I keep looking down at my ring finger. I’m just so happy to say we are officially engaged. We are so excited to start planning the rest of our lives together and I’m excited to put as much detail as Randall did in our engagement into our wedding!” she says.
The engagement happened two months after Emmett asked her father's permission to marry him shortly before he passed. Her dad, Kent Burningham, diedunexpectedly earlier this year at the age of 64. Fellow VPR cast member Jax Taylor also lost his father recently.

“Randall had told me that he had asked my dad permission to marry me earlier this year before my father passed away which is such an incredible gift because I lost my dad suddenly. I believe my father was definitely with us last night in spirit, which makes me even happier and our parents are thrilled!” she says.
They went public in January of this year after Lala kept him under wraps on VPR. She shared the exciting engagement news on her Instagram Sunday morning.
"Last night was the best night of my entire life. I got engaged to the man of my dreams. I get to call this amazing human my fiancé!," she wrote. "An engagement last night, my birthday today, and every sign my dad could possibly send me to let me know he’s here. I’m the happiest girl in the world."
