Uncovered Video: Kate Couric Says Matt Lauer 'Pinched My A** A Lot' On 'Today'
Katie Couric straight up said her longtime co-host Matt Lauer had a thing for pinching her as* while working on the Today show.
While appearing on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live back in 2012, Andy asked Katie -- during his staple WWHL segment, Plead The Fifth -- what was Matt’s most annoying habit during the 15 years they worked together.
After taking a breath, Katie responded, “he pinches me on the as* a lot.”
On Tuesday, Matt was fired as co-host of the Today show for “inappropriate sexual behavior."
The once beloved anchor’s firing was announced on Wednesday, amidst reports that The New York Times and Variety have been working on a story for weeks regarding multiple sexual harassment claims against the former Today show host.
While NBC said in a statement that they had received no complaints against their longtime co-anchor during his 20-year tenure, Katie’s troubling statement has many wondering if the network simply turned a blind eye.
