Don't hurt your pretty face, Jake Gyllenhaal! The hunky actor joined Bear Grylls in the upcoming season premiere episode of Man Vs. Wild, and the preview clip reveals he was really pushed to his limit.

Okay, we know this was previously filmed so Jake makes it out alive, but we're still so nervous for him!

In the clip, Jake admits, "I kind of have a fear of heights," as he's shown dangling over a cliff. And it looks like he got to experience eating some sketchy-looking food.

Jake's Man Vs. Wild episode premieres on the Discovery Channel at 9 p.m. on July 11.
