OK! EXCLUSIVE PICS: Hilary Duff's Dream Wedding Decor
Aug. 23 2010, Published 4:47 a.m. ET
Hilary Duff's wedding day to Mike Comrie was a true fairytale. "I planned every detail," Hilary tells OK! of her gorgeous ceremony and reception held at at a private estate in Santa Barbara. From the cake to Hil's "something blue" to the the guests' gifts, the couple certainly paid close attention to detail to plan their perfect day.
Guests received a Padrón Anniversario cigar and a box of Hilary's fave chocolates, topped with sea salt, from John Kelly.
Hilary nixed frosting so the cake — by Fantasy Frostings — would look "vintage-home-made" to go with the "warm, fuzzy, feeling of the wedding."
"I'm a little picky when things get to sweet, so the cake is more buttery and the frosting is a little sweeter," Hil explained. "It has all these fresh flowers all over it."

As far as Hilary's "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue," she kept it easy.
"I wore blue underwear and borrowed all of the jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels, and the something old was my great-grandmother's came, which I wore inside of my dress. The dress itself was new."
