Jackie Chan "Alive & Well" After Internet Death Hoax

Jackie Chan is the latest celebrity to fall victim to an Internet celebrity death hoax. While he may not be out and about Hollywood right now promoting a film, the beloved action star is very much alive, and he wants the world to know!
"Jackie is alive and well," read a note on the 56-year-old actor's Facebook page posted today. "He did not suffer a heart attack and die, as was reported on many social networking sites and in online news reports."
"Jackie is fine and is busy preparing for the filming of his next movie," the post added.
And it looks like fans are relieved as 5,905 people commented on the wall message and 41,711 people "Liked it."
Jackie also posted a photo of himself (below), dated today, March 20, on his Web site of him meeting with top Japanese officials.

"Jackie met with Yuji Kumamaru, Consul-General of Japan in Hong Kong to discuss the details of the 'Love Without Borders 3/11 Candelight Gala,' " the caption read about an event which will benefit the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Most recently, Jackie's The Karate Kid co-star Jaden Smith, 12, fell victim to the celebrity death hoax which has also claimed the lives of Adam Sandler, Owen Wilson, Jeff Goldblum and Pat Sajak.
