Zoe Saldana has recently become a sci-fi goddess. Starring in both Avatar and the latest Star Trek flick, Zoe had geeks everywhere drooling over her perfect body and headstrong attitude. Before joining two of the most popular series of the new millenium, Zoe took parts in Center Stage, Crossroads and The Terminal. As a child, Zoe was raised in Queens, N.Y. until the age of 10 when her family moved to the Dominican Republic. It was there that Zoe began learning ballet and other dance forms which later lead to her interest in theater when she moved back to the States seven years later. She got her acting start performing with the Faces theater troupe, putting on plays with morals about substance abuse and sex for teens.
