Oh, what a Knight! Gladys Knight, that is. The legendary singer said her farewells last night on Dancing With the Stars.

After the show, Gladys told reporters she's lost a whopping 60 pounds since she first started official ballroom workouts. "I started a program before I came here," she explained.

She did the Freshology food program and added she'll keep the pounds off by having a personal trainer — none other than dance partner Tristan MacManus!

"I'm going to keep Tristan. He can come over and work out with me." Actually, a typical day for Gladys during DWTS involved a power bar, protein drink and some fruit. "And when I get here on set I will hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. I can't eat when I'm focused," she pointed out.

Gladys seems to be taking the loss in stride. The duel last night boiled down to a jive and the ousted dancer simply stated she got defeated. "I thought we had a good dance and they felt that someone else did a better job of it."

It sounds like Gladys will miss the entire experience, the friends she's made and the memories, too. "The knowledge that I have obtained, not just about dancing but in getting to know different personalities and how they operate and how they carry themselves. How they operate under pressure, there are so many life lessons here."
