At last — Jessica Simpson's baby girl, Maxwell Drew, is here! And sources tell Star she's coming home to a million-dollar Beverly Hills nursery fit for a little princess. Jessica, 31 and her fiancé Eric Johnson, 32, "spared no expense on what she's calling her 'couture nursery,'" a close family friend tells Star. "She's spent months planning out every detail, and it's absolutely perfect!"
Decorated in white, pale green and gray, the suite is "very girly but not too frilly," Jessica herself reveals. Outfitted with a fireplace, luxurious drapes and organic linens from celebrity nursery designers Caden Lane, the suite features a white crib from PoshTots, a nursery chair and lots of baby-friendly toys, some given by friends and family in anticipation of Maxwell Drew's arrival. Jessica's cousin Teri Celeste Zadnichek confirms to Star exclusively, "The family sent gifts!"
There's an attached bathroom just for the baby, according to the insider, and even a walk-in closet. "My baby has garment bags of designer clothes!" Jessica boasts. And the source adds: "She spent hours trolling through some of L.A.'s most exclusive baby boutiques, like Bel-Bambini and Petit Tresor, looking for the cutest things.
"The diaper-changing area was specially constructed to help keep everything clean and sterile," the insider reveals. "it's very innovative."
