Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice’s relationship has been full of tumultuous moments the over the years, but the sisters-in-law aren’t letting drama break their united front.
Gorga exclusively revealed to OKmagazine.com that the family remains close-knit in the wake of Giudice’s imprisonment for fraud.
“When there is a time of crisis that’s when you really need family,” Gorga told OKMagazine.com at the Bowlmor Green Brook Grand Opening Night Party On October 8. “That’s when you really come together and that’s what we’re doing.”
The family coming together after mending their broken relationship will be a major storyline on the three-part Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In special.
“It’s an emotional special,” Melissa revealed. “You might shed a tear or two. It’s heartwarming to see how families come together in a time of crisis.”
With Giudice set to complete her sentence right before Christmas, Gorga will continue to be there for her daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana in the meantime.

“Everyone is doing really well,” Gorga said. “I love the girls. Joe Gorga and I are there for them. They are handling it so well it’s unbelievable.”
Although Gorga claimed that the family is stronger than ever, she revealed that she has “not spoken” to the RHONJ star since she reported to prison in January.
Regardless of their lack of communication, she insisted that the first thing they are going to do together is “celebrate Christmas” as a family.
