Universal Officially Postpones The Production of Fast & Furious After the Death of Actor Paul Walker

After the tragic death of Paul Walker, one question regarding the production of Fast & Furious 7 remained unanswered. While the world mourns the horrible loss of Paul in this tragedy, what is going on with the film that has yet to be completed? Universal, the company producing the seventh installment in Paul Walker's famous franchise, officially announced their decision.

According to Deadline, Universal released a statement that explaining that filming has been shut down for a untold amount of time.
"At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise. We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it," reads the statement posted on Deadline.

Universal also added that this time is being used to support the cast and Paul's friends and family.
