Now, Channing has a lot of experience in the stripper department, but the other actors, like Matthew, who weren't familiar with dancing for money, got a kick out of shooting the movie, which was based off of Channing's striptease past.
”Actors, generally, if we finish our scenes early one day, we go home. It wasn’t like that on this set. Especially during the dances—we were there cheering everybody on,” Channing tells EW, adding that Matthew got everyone on set, including the female extras, rowdy with his dance.

"I dont know what happened when he did his dance, but all i know is afterwards he wasn't wearing his thong anymore, he was just holding his junk," Channing reveals. "They didn't jump up and rip our thongs off, but they jumped up and actually ripped his thong off of him. These were extras that were getting paid, but they lost their God d**mn minds!"

"Oh, it leaves something to the imagination," Matthew says of his on-screen striptease. "It wasn’t in the script, but Steven Soderbergh said in the beginning that if it felt right, I could strip at the end of the movie. I said, ‘I gotta dance, man.’ I would regret it for the rest of my life if I was in a male stripper movie and didn’t get up there and strip myself.”
Magic Mike hits theaters on June 29 — will you check it out? (We know we will!)
