Emily Maynard has been named the new Bachelorette, but that doesn't mean she's ready for all the drama to begin! The single mom met up with former Bachelorettes and friends Ashley Hebert and Ali Fedotowsky for a girls' day out, where we're sure she scooped up a ton of advice.

The sixth and seventh season stars met up with season eight's Emily at Blushington Makeup & Beauty Lounge in L.A., where ABC cameras captured their date on tape. Rumor has it they were filming a scene for the reality show.

“We approached her. She was reluctant and needed a lot of time to think about it, obviously, because there’s somebody else involved in her life, Ricki, her daughter," host Chris Harrison told Entertainment Weekly of nabbing Emily for the show. "It was a huge decision. It wasn’t our usual approach to finding the Bachelorette."

And Emily's final decision might be in part thanks to Ali, who tells OK! that Brad Womack's ex gave her a call to talk about the pros and cons of being on the ABC show.

"Emily is so great. I love her," Ali tells OK!. "She actually called me before accepting the position as Bachelorette. I am super happy for her. I think she made the right choice and I think she’s going to be awesome."

"My advice to her would be to try to get as much sleep as possible," she adds, "because you don't get a lot of it when you're on there."

Let's not forget, both Ali and Ashley found success on their seasons: Ali recently ended her 18-month engagement to Roberto Martinez, but is not counting out a reconciliation, while Ashley is dating J.P. Rosenbaum and recently moved in with him in NYC.
