While Hollywood's ladies surprise us with dresses with color, texture and flair on Oscar night, the men often appear to be a sea of classic black tuxedos.
Don't get us wrong, they always look snazzy, but we love when guys change up the style scene. In an effort to find out how these male celebs could step it up, we went to style expert Brad Goreski from Bravo's It's a Brad, Brad World. He had some serious tips that we hope the Oscar men will adhere to—and you can pass these along to the men in your life for their next black tie affair!
1. Socks!
"Socks are always a great way for a man to incorporate some color into their wardrobe whether it be for a formal occasion, or on a daily basis," says Brad.
We thought about Rob Kardashian's sock line. Hey, Oscar guys! Check it out!
2. Black Tuxes Aren't the Only Option
Brad says that black-tie dressing doesn't mean that you can only wear the color black. His suggestion is to pair a navy suit jacket with a pair of black slacks. We thought about what Ryan Gosling wore to the Drive premiere. It looks amazing, Ryan!
3. The Power of Cuff Links
"Cuff links are a great place to add a personal detail. I like to add a little bling with diamond or some sort of stone that will add a little glitz and glamour. For those less adventurous, try solid gold," says Brad.

"Three piece suit are also really sexy, and they waistcoat help gives extra shape to the body," says Brad. Justin wore this slick suit in 2011!
