Janet Jackson may have been one of the top choices to replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger as a mentor on The X Factor, but sadly, she's declined the offer. Sorry, Simon Cowell!
The singer released a statement today, saying she is "very flattered that X Factor let me know that I was being considered for next season, but it just wouldn't be possible."
