Anyone who's familiar with Taylor Swift's music knows she likes to write from personal experience. So much so that her love scorned songs can quickly become a who's who of her Hollywood ex-lovers.
The singer's newest hit, 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,' is clearly no different with many wondering which of her famous exes she's referring to when she spins a tale of a lovesick dude who just can't take a hint.
Said guy breaks it off with Taylor needing "space" only to call and want her back over and over again.
Taylor started her dating career with Joe Jonas who famously dumped her in a 27-second phone call in 2008.
The boy bander was rumored to want her back in September, with UsWeekly reporting that he'd called the country crooner promising he was a "changed man." Joe and Ashley Greene parted ways in March of 2011 so he was technically single at the time.

However, she also sings of this off-on boyfriend going to "hide away and find your peace of mind, with some indie record that's much cooler than mine."
While Joe broke away from The Jonas Brothers and released his solo album, Fastlife, it was far from indie. Which would lead us to theorize she's referring to John Mayer.

John packed up and left L.A. for Montana last year telling Ellen DeGeneres living away from the spotlight was "really excellent." His fifth album, Born and Raised, hit shelves in May.
However, Tay does sing about this man in question saying "I love you" and can any of us really picture John saying those precious three words to Taylor?
It's a draw! Who do you think — Joe Jonas or John Mayer?
