And according to In Touch, Beyoncé’s recent purchase of a massive, 22-room mansion in New Orleans, Louisiana, was possibly prompted by the reported unrest in their union.

The home, which was once a church and ballet studio, has 22 rooms among the three separate apartments housed in the 13,292 square feet residence. It is located in New Orleans’ Garden District and would place Bey in the same city as her sister, Solange, nephew, Julez, and brother-in-law, Alan Ferguson.

A source speaking with the magazine said that Bey’s purchase of the new home comes amid growing relationship issues between the pair. And the fact that she appears to have purchased the residence solo has led the singer’s friends and fans questioning what’s going on in her marriage.

“Bey bought the property under Sugarcane Park LLC, which has the same address as her management company. It was her purchase, not a joint one between her and Jay,” the source said. “That’s very telling.” Do you think Beyoncé and Jay Z are still dealing with marriage issues?
