17 Celebrities Whose Names Are Impossible to Spell
Sometimes our jobs here at OKMagazine.com are really difficult because it requires us to spell check celebrities' names before we write about them. Seriously though, can't the famous people make it easy on us? Here's 15 stars whose hard-to-spell first and/or last names trip us up every darn time, from McConaughey to Giudice to Keibler.
Stacy Keibler
Stacy Keibler's first and last names could both be misspelled so many ways, but we're going to guess that Stacey Kiebler and Stacey Keebler are probably the most commonly used errors. Right?
Matthew McConaughey
He's been in the biz forever, but even established movie fans probably mess up the spelling of Matthew McConaughey's last name once in a while. It happens to the best of us.
Courteney Cox
Not to be confused with Kourtney Kardashian or Courtney Love, Courteney Cox spells her first name with an "E" plopped right in the middle. But WHY?!
Will Ferrell
This is probably the expression that Will Ferrell makes every time someone spells his last name "Ferell." We apologize! Really. So sorry.
Giuliana Rancic
We can't be the only ones who sometimes misspell Giuliana Rancic's name by putting the "U" before the "I" or adding an extra "N" in there. Guilianna still looks pretty legit to us...
Teresa Giudice
And fellow italian and RHONJ stars Teresa and Joe Giudice's name gives us the same headache. Is it Giudice? Guidice? Ugh, we give up.
Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Maksim Chmerkovskiy—who just announced that he's returning to Dancing With The Stars—is lucky he's good-looking. Otherwise, girls would just give up on dating him because, honestly, noone wants Chmerkovskiy as their surname.
Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett Johansson's name is just as gorgeous as she is, but it's so freakin' difficult to write! It's one H, one N and two S's, for future reference.
Cara Delevingne

It wouldn't have been the worst thing if model Cara Delevingne decided to give herself a stage name. Even shortening the complicated last name to "Levingne" would've still confused us, but not quite as much.
Shia Labeouf
Phonetically speaking, Shia LaBeouf's last name should be spelled Labuff. This is just common courtesy.
Lea Michele
Lea Michele's real last name is Sarfati so thanks, Lea, for not complicating our lives more with that one. But her stage last name, Michele, really needs another "L" in there. It trips us up every time.
Malin Akerman
Pronouncing Malin Akerman's first name is hard—it's technically "MAHL-in"—but spelling her last name is nearly impossible. Why the heck isn't there a "C" after the "A"?!
Jake Gyllenhaal
Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal probably grew up with kids and teachers having a hard time pronouncing and spelling their last name. Now they're adults, and people still can't freakin' get it straight.
Hayden Panettiere
Hayden Panettiere's last name is gorgeous, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to write without googling it first for spell-check purposes. Guaranteed.
Zach Galifianakis
It's confusing enough that Zach Galifianakis spells his first name with a "CH" instead of like "Zac" or "Zack." But his last name? We won't even attempt it.
Kristin Cavallari
Kristin Cavallari had to go and be all different by spelling her first name with an "I" instead of an "E" like Kristen Stewart, Bell, and Wiig? We're taking a trip to Laguna Beach to yell at her parents.
Quvenzhane Wallis
Quvenzhane Wallis—Just no.
