Gordon Ramsay, the normally aggressive celebrity chef, showed his softer side when he competed in IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire on June 14th in England to raise money for The Gordon Ramsay Foundation. He was accompanied on the 70.3-mile journey by his wife, Tana, who participated in her first half Ironman to support her husband’s foundation.
The famous chef who is no stranger to a half-IRONMAN – participating in three prior to Staffordshire – finished this weekend’s race in 5:53:49, while Tana was impressive on her first go at an IRONMAN 70.3 finishing in 6:48:05. The couple, who has been married since 1996, celebrated their amazing accomplishments by sharing a kiss after Tana crossed the finish line.

FIRST-EVER mural unveiling in honor of the 5th Annual Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Competition, featuring guest of honor Kristine Mays -- the San Francisco artist whose massive public mural was unveiled last night to San Francisco and the world. The celebratory event took place on Thursday, June 11 at Origin in downtown San Francisco from 6:30-9:30pm.
The cocktail reception was in honor of Kristine Mays' being named the National Grand Finale Winner of the 5th Annual BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Artisan Series competition, in partnership with Russell Simmons’ RUSH Philanthropic Arts Foundation. As part of her prize, Kristine got to work with local arts organization Imprint City and Bombay Sapphire to construct a massive public mural installation for the remainder of the year. Bombay Sapphire and RUSH celebrated with Kristine,muralist Shawn Bullen, National Art Curator Andre Guichard, Imprint City, VIP guests and influential locals at the Cocktail Reception, where artfully crafted concoctions were served throughout the evening.
Since its inception, the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series competition has received more than 15,000 submissions, and more than $260,000 of artwork by competition finalists has been sold. In 2012, Chicago finalist Hebru Brantley sold his finale piece to Jay Z for $20,000 during Art Basel. addiction to alcohol or other drugs and ending the stigma and suffering of those affected by this disease, is staging one of their Shatterproof Challenge Rappelling Series in Los Angeles to draw attention to the national epidemic of drug and alcohol addiction. Shatterproof is hosting more than 20 of these events in 2015, doubling the amount of events from 2014, in cities across the United States; the first time in history that there has been such a coordinated program to end the shame and stigma associated with this disease. We are rappelling as a part of a national movement to honor our loved ones in recovery and remember those we have lost.
Over 100 individuals will rappel down the Sheraton Downtown LA to raise vital funds for the prevention, treatment and recovery of this disease and to end the unjust stigma.

Samsung closed out Governors Ball by treating fans to an intimate DJ set by A-Trak in the Samsung Galaxy Owner's Lounge. - 1 ½ parts of Sauza® Blue 100% Agave Silver Tequila
- ½ part Dekuyper® 03 Premium Orange Liqueur
- 4 parts cran-raspberry juice
- 2 parts lemon-lime soda
Combine all ingredients and pour in a glass over ice.

- 1 ½ parts Sauza® Blue 100% Agave Silver Tequila
- 1 ½ parts frozen lemonade
- 1 ½ parts ginger beer
- 1 ½ parts water
- 1 tsp. honey
- Lemon wedges for garnish
Combine lemonade, ginger beer, Sauza Blue 100% Agave Silver Tequila, water and 1 teaspoon of honey in a shaker with ice. Shake well to combine. Pour over ice in a glass and drop in lemon wedges.

- 1 ½ parts Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
- 1/2 part JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
- 2 parts frozen limeade
- 2 parts prickly pear cactus juice
- 1 cup crushed ice
- Lime wedge for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Taste and add sugar or lime juice if you want more sweet or sour. Pour over ice into a tall glass and garnish with a lime wedge

In honor of the world’s most talented female football athletes, Sauza Tequila created some spirited cocktails to celebrate the Women’s World Cup, which begins on June 6, including the Player’s Passion, Goalkeeper-rita, and Kickin’ It, which is pictured above!
Kickin’ It
- 1 ½ parts Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
- 4 parts sparkling blackberry soda
- ¼ cup fresh blackberries
- ¾ part fresh lime juice
- ¼ part simple syrup
- Ice
- Lime wedge for garnish
Preparation: Place 2-3 whole blackberries in your glass. In a blender, puree the rest of the fresh blackberries with lime juice and simple syrup. Strain into a cocktail shaker, add the Tequila and ice and shake to chill. Pour your glass ⅓ full with the blackberry-lime-tequila mixture. Top with chilled blackberry soda. Garnish glass with a lime wedge.
Player’s Passion
- 1 ½ parts Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
- ½ parts JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
- 2 parts passion fruit jam
- 2 parts club soda
- ½ parts agave
- 1 part lime juice
- Melon to garnish
- Chili-Salt to rim glass
Preparation: In a shaker filled with ice combine all ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass filled with ice and prepared with a chili-salt rim. Garnish with a ball of melon and a piece of strawberry.
Goalkeeper-rita
- 1 ½ parts Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
- 3 parts frozen limeade
- 4 parts Simply grapefruit juice
- ½ cup ice
- Lime peel for garnish
Preparation: In a shaker, combine the limeade, Sauza® Tequila, grapefruit juice and ice. Shake well and pour into a tall glass. Garnish with a lime peel.
