Dawson’s Creek fans around the globe must be giddy with glee — almost 20 years after the popular 90’s show first aired in 1998, Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes’ on-screen romance has transformed into off-camera bliss!
“They had lunch together and things went from there,” an insider told Heat about the American sweethearts’ newly ignited flame. “Pretty soon, they were texting and talking to each other almost every day and spending time together whenever they got a chance."

And the timing couldn’t be better! Not only did the Batman beauty just wave goodbye to 3-year-long love Jamie Foxx, but turns out Joshua’s also just pulled the plug on his 10-year-long romance to Troy hottie, Diane Kruger.
And though the once young lovebirds called it quits after just a year of dating back in 1999, the two have never been far apart. “Josh contacted Katie at the start of the year after he moved to New York where she lives as they’ve been friends for years,” a source explained. “So when he split from Diane, it made it very easy for them to meet up.”
