In the new documentary Diana, Our Mother, both William and Harry expressed regret over their last phone call with Diana, which they cut short so they could go back to playing with their cousins.
“If I’d known what would happen I wouldn’t have been so blasé about it,” William said.
Harry agreed, admitting, “If I’d known that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother, the things I would have said to her. Looking back on it now it is incredibly hard. I have to deal with that for the rest of my life.”
William and Harry revealed the documentary was “the first time the two of us have ever spoken about her as a mother” and said they can still feel her presence with them to this day.
