Never-Before-Seen! See The Thai Artist Responsible For Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt's Binding Tattoos
Adorned with over 15 symbolic tattoos, Angelina Jolie's body is a total work of art. And now, exclusive never-before-seen images of the star's talented artist, former monk Ajarn Noo Kanpai, have surfaced.
While directing her Netflix film First They Killed My Father in Cambodia in February 2016, Angie had Kanpai flown in from Bangkok, Thailand to work on intricate pieces for her and Brad Pitt.
Ironically enough, these symbolic inkings were meant to bind the former husband and wife.
In addition to the former couple's binding ink, Angelina also added two ancient Thai Buddhist designs, supposedly for protection. Brad got his left side tatted with the Buddhist symbols.

The Mr. & Mrs. Smith costars aren't the only A-listers Kanpai has worked on. Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez have also coveted the Bankok-based artist for his nontraditional tattooing method. Kanpai uses steel rods attached to a surgical steel needle to draw the art. Although this process is more painful than tats done with a tattoo gun, it is thought to result in more accurate art.
It's safe to say she's a fan of his work! Kanpai is also responsible for the mom-of-six's impressive shoulder blade tattoos, which were done in 2003 and 2004.
