Jordin Sparks was only 12 when American Idol first premiered. The young singer waited four, long years until she reached the minimum age requirement for contestants and there's no doubt that the wait was worth it! Jordin eventually won the season and became the youngest ever Idol winner. Making history again, Jordin was also the first winner not to sign with Clive David. Instead Jordin opted for a record deal with Jive Records. In 2007, Jordin released the singles "Tattoo" and "No Air," a duet with Chris Brown, both of which become billboard hits. The young star then opens for Alicia Keys' "As I Am" tour. In 2010, Jordin gave Broadway a shot, starring int he Tony Award-winning In The Heights.
