Singer Avril Lavigne revealed her husband, musician Deryck
Whibley, is spending the holidays writing songs while he’s recuperating at
home.
“He’s been writing songs a little bit right now at the house
because he hurt his back so he has to stay at home,” Avril told OK! after

While looking after Deryck, whom she married in July 2006,

Avril said of her best dish: “I make really good butternut

and take care of myself.”
And obviously, Deryck, too!
