For color, we like to get details about the celeb’s day in food, so the conversation takes a turn when she’s asked who joined her for her meals.
“This is like a bizarre eating disorder article,” she says. “This is really weird. I eat with people sometimes, sometimes I don’t. You should be comfortable eating by yourself or in public. This is so weird!”
For the 90210 star, diet and exercise are not a concern.
“I’m a sucker for fries,” she says. “It’s definitely one of my biggest vices. My biggest savory vice for sure. Aside from that, I’m a big pastry and chocolate lover, but French fries and sweet potato fries really do it for me.”
As for exercise?
“When I have time and I feel like it, I do it, and when I don’t,” she explains. “It is what it is. I’m a busy girl.”
Most hilarious is when I catch her in person several days later in Hawaii for the grand opening of The Waikiki Edition Hotel, where she couldn’t be sweeter. Funny, I know better, but she is indulging with best friend Laura during the Dylan’s Candy Bar: Unwrap Your Sweet Life book party held at the resort’s private Sunset Beach.
“I’m in love,” Shenae tells me of her Hawaii experience. “I’m having the best time. I feel like a spoiled little brat, honestly. [laughs] I don’t get to vacation very often with my busy work schedule. I got Thursday afternoon and Friday off, so I was like ‘ahhh! Guys, I’m coming. I have to!’ It’s been amazing. All the treatments and the food, the pool, yoga … all of it! It’s been so much fun. The barbecue last night was really, really fun. Lying by the pool has been such a luxury because I don’t get to do that ever, but I think yoga on the pool deck was probably the highlight. It was such an amazing class, the teacher was phenomenal, and it was so nice to do it outside in the sunshine and fresh air.”
Sounds like the getaway is just what she needed.
