ZOE KRAVITZ OPENS UP ABOUT FAMILY, COLLEGE LIFE

Zoe Kravitz, the daughter of and , plays a teenage prostitute saved by ’s character in the thriller The Brave One, in theaters now.

“I like to do good work,” the 18-year-old beauty tells me at the NYC premiere of her film. “I like to do work that inspires people, and I like to create things.”

Did mom and dad give her any advice? “Do the best job you can, and protect your heart,” she says.

Still, being the daughter of Lisa and Lenny has its downside. When asked if it’s true her dad was engaged to , she growls, but she lightens up when asked about the new addition to her family. She recently became a big sister with the birth of Lisa’s lil’ one.

How’s the baby? “Amazing! I’ve heard that I have two other siblings that I don’t know about, but this is her only other child. She’s lovely. She’s in L.A. and I’m in school, but I was just there for the summer. I was babysitting and changing diapers.”

Zoe took a break from the acting conservatory at SUNY Purchase to attend the premiere. “I just moved into my dorm, which is crazy. It’s like ‘this big’ and I have my bed and my desk. I have a single. I got really lucky, but it’s so small. You win some, you lose some.”

Next up for Zoe is The Laws of Motion, starring . “He is the funniest person I’ve ever met in my life. He’s such a sweet guy. It was like summer camp.”
