Blake Shelton chose the right song for contestant Dia Frampton last night on The Voice. The country crooner gave Dia a chance to steal the spotlight with an out of the box song choice — Kanye West's "Heartless."

Dia is known for having a nervous energy and to keep her nerves in check, the young singer performed behind a grand piano and stunned the judges and audience with her memorable performance.

"Tonight I saw the fighter in you come out," Christina Aguilera shared after Dia's performance. "Your 'me' come out."

Cee Lo Green went as far as saying that the performance was "very original" and praised Dia's take on "Heartless" "probably the greatest rendition of a song I ever heard."

"That was the most refreshing unique thing I saw on the show so far," Adam Levine trumpeted.

And Blake Shelton may have been the most proud of his team member: "This is my favorite moment on The Voice."

This week — which marks the first week of live competition — saw each of the four members of Team Blake and Team Christina perform. Next week, it will be Adam and Cee Lo's teams.

After all four teams perform, half of each team will be cut.

Dia and her sister Meg Frampton already released a major label album as the group Meg & Dia in 2009. The band is unsigned now, so last night's performance may have been the first step for her to find a new record deal!

Catch the performance, via TV Squad, in the clip below! Did you like Dia's rendition?
