Maksim Chmerkovskiy has room in his heart for more than just dancing.
In an interview with People on Saturday, the Dancing With The Stars champion said he also enjoys the thrill of pursuing his romantic interests. "I am a hopeless romantic who falls in lust and gets in trouble," he said at the Alfalit International Global Literacy Dinner in Miami.
"I love my work and am very productive, yet I always find time to play," the 34-year-old added.

When asked about his reported relationship with Jennifer Lopez, Chmerkovskiy didn’t spill many details. But he did share his feelings about the 45-year-old singer. "Yes, she's great, I have fun. And while other names are out there ... I am not a scumbag,” he said.
Chmerkovskiy left DWTS this year after winning the Season 18 mirror ball trophy with Meryl Davis. Chmerkovskiy said he felt it was time to finally exit the show and focus on other projects. He is now studying to be an actor as well as continuing to design jewelry for his MAKSIM line. He also opened his sixth dance studio in Los Angeles in September.
