OK! Exclusive: P.Diddy Wants Revolt TV To Be The 'CNN Of Music!'

P. Diddy has already created his own clothing line, produced hit records for the biggest names in the music industry, recorded his own platinum albums, rebranded Ciroc Vodka, but there is still more work to be done in his quest for global domination!

The entrepeneur turned heads on the red carpet Tuesday night at the third annual Global Spin Awards at the New World Stages in New York City, after his music cable network, Revolt TV secured exclusive rights to the broadcasting of the DJ awards show, which airs on November 25, 2014 at 8pm ET.

The 45-year-old mogul launched the network a little over a year ago and spoke with OK! Magazine exclusively about the reason behind establishing his own cable music channel.

"I felt that there was no platform for musical artists to showcase their talents visually. Besides YouTube, there was no place that actually curated the music and actually followed the artists in a journalistic news kind of way," he said.

"And after MTV stopped playing videos and BET has got out of the game after shutting down 106 & Park...You know we’re here to really elevate that category of music, the visual category, and be the ESPN and CNN of music," P. Diddy continued.

Well he is certainly well on his way! When asked how he celebrated Revolt TV's one-year anniversary, which was earlier this year, P. Diddy admitted he has been too busy!

"To be honest, we’ve been so overwhelmed. We haven’t really celebrated as of yet, and I mean that’s a good idea. We need to have a party," P. Diddy said. Sounds like a plan to us!
