When a beaming Jennifer Aniston strode out of L.A.'s Sunset Tower Hotel last week, her message couldn't have been any clearer: Though she and her boyfriend of one year, John Mayer, had again called it quits, the actress was happy about the break-up.
In fact, over dinner at Terrace that evening with her best friend Courteney Cox, Jen expressed relief. "She was truly ready to move on," an insider tells OK!. "John wasn't ready to father her child so she ended it."

Now, at 40, the actress is finally ready to live up to her claims of wanting to start a family, a friend of Jen tells OK!. But don't think John, 31, is going to be daddy to Jen's baby! While the couple ended their relationship on good terms, it remains to be seen whether they will reconcile.
"They left the door open to give it another go," John's friend tells OK!. But even so, John is nowhere near ready to be a father.
"John's number one priority is his music," a pal tells OK!. "Which is all-consuming for him."
