Britney's Tearful Meet-Up With Mom

According to an eyewitness, in the early hours of Thursday morning Britney Spears paid an unexpected visit to the Marina del Rey apartment of her estranged mother, Lynne.

"Brit met her mom in the lobby," the witness reveals to OK!. "She burst out crying as she reached out to hug her mother."

Just last weekend, Lynne and Britney's little sister, Jamie Lynn, staged an impromptu marathon intervention at the pop superstar's Malibu home. After more than 12 hours behind closed doors, and shortly after ex-husband Kevin Federline arrived, talks broke down and Britney fled for her other home in Beverly Hills.
