Congratulations to Clay Aiken!
The American Idol alum is now the proud pop of a bouncing baby boy, a rep for the singer confirms exclusively to OK!.
"HE'S HERE!" wrote Clay on his official webite. "My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)"
Parker was born at 8:08am on Aug. 8 — should make it easy to remember his birthday! — in North Carolina and weighed in at a healthy 6 lbs., 2 oz. and was 19" long.
"Wow ... 8:08 ... 08/08/08," writes Clay. "The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also."
Parker's mom is Clay's best friend and record producer, Jaymes Foster, who met the singer while he was a contestant on the second season of Idol. The pair, who are not romantically involved, but who plan on raising the child together, conceived earlier this year via in vitro fertilization.
