Denise Richards Plays Matchmaker

She's back! After some speculation in the media that It's Complicated would be canceled, Denise Richards is ready to reveal a few tidbits about the second season of her E! reality show.

"It's about moving forward, taking risks," she tells Good Day New York of the new season. And she's not the only one taking the risks, as she explains that she'll be helping her dad get over the loss of her mother by encouraging him to get out there.

"My dad was a little hesitant about talking about it with me, about possibly meeting someone," matchmaker Denise says. "It would be harder for me for him to live the rest of his life with a broken heart. I want him to be happy and move forward so he's started to date."

While her dad will be a big part of this season, daughters Sam and Lola will have less screen time than before, even though Denise says her ex, Charlie Sheen, was onboard.

"Charlie was very supportive of them being on the second season," she says, adding that "We're in a very good place, I'm very friendly with him and his wife. Lola turned 4 on Monday and they came over for cake and ice cream. It's nice for the girls, it's better."
