Ethan Hawke Marries Girlfriend

Ethan Hawke is still one step ahead of Uma Thurman.

While his ex-wife was busy getting engaged last month, Ethan quietly went off and tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes, Entertainment Tonight has confirmed.

The couple married in New York City, according to ET.

The two are expecting their first child together, which will be Ethan's third overall. He has two children, Maya, who turned 10 on Tuesday, and Levon, 6, with Uma. Ryan was a former nanny for the children.

This is Ethan's second marriage. The 37-year-old was married to Uma for 6 years, divorcing in 2004. Uma, 38, is currently engaged to millionaire Arpad Busson.
