Has Britney Lost Her Religion?

While some people believe in the luck of finding a real-life four-leaf clover, only a rare few would believe that such good fortune would also come from a sweatshirt with clovers printed on it. But, as usual, leave it to Britney Spears, who purchased just such a hoodie recently, to never let you down.
“Brit picked out a clover Primp hoodie because she thought it would help bring her luck," a source close to the troubled pop star reveals to OK!. "She said she needed all the luck she could get after the past few months." And that's not where Brit's superstitions end, says the friend. "She joked she'd start carrying around a rabbit's foot if it meant her curse would go away.”
And while the "Gimme More" singer has turned to foliage for luck, those close to her are praying that Britney would return to her God-fearing roots for guidance. "Brit was the shining star in the local choir,” says a hometown pal from Kentwood, La. “She was a God-centered person and always said you were lost until you let Him in.”
But considering her behavior in the last year, which includes nearly constant late-night partying and multiple trips to rehab, friends now say “anyone can tell Britney isn't living a Christian lifestyle.”

But that hasn't stopped pals from hoping for a sin-free future for the mother of two, and her saving grace just might be the faith of her mother, Lynne. “She is always trying to help Britney,” one friend tells OK!. “She’s never going to give up. Lynne has a deep faith.”
