Idol's Paris Bennett Gives Birth

Former American Idol contestant Paris Bennett has something new to sing about – the 20-year-old is the proud new mother to a daughter named Egypt.

After five hours of labor on Monday, 5-pound, 15-ounce Egypt came into the world, and she apparently had a lot to say!

''Man, does she have lungs on her," said Paris in a statement. "I guess she's gearing up to be the next American Idol.''

Paris finished fifth on the fifth season of the reality competition, and released her first album, Princess P in 2007. Her holiday album A Royal Christmas, will debut on Oct. 14.
