essica Alba announced that she is expecting a baby with boyfriend Cash Warren due late spring or early summer.

When I caught up with the 26-year-old beauty at the November 14 premiere of her movie Awake, she seemed to be thinking about what it means to be a parent and feeling the tiredness associated with impending motherhood.

What's her favorite holiday gift?

"I don't want to say, because then my parents will get mad," she says, adding that she'll be spending the holidays at home in L.A. with her family.

How did she get ready for the premiere?

"I slept," she says. "I slept for, like, three hours."

The newly preggers star said she picked out her Georgina Chapman frock because it was "cool, festive and cute."

Strangely enough, she replied “I don’t talk about that” when asked why she and Cash are a perfect match.
